(Goodlettsville, TN) - Eddie Crook, President of
The Eddie Crook Company,
is pleased to announce the signing of the southern gospel trio, New Ground of
Scottsboro, Alabama, to their artist family.
New Ground was formed in June of 1993 by husband and wife team, Dale and Robbie
Maxwell. They have seen continued growth in their ministry and their latest
project entitled “It’s About Time”, saw two songs hit the Top 50 charts and
three songs to make it into the Top 40. Their most current release, “This Could
Be The Day”, was written by group member David Owens and is playing at radio
stations now.
Also, the Singing News subscribers have recently nominated New Ground, as one of
its Top Five Finalists for the 2004 Horizon Group of the Year Award.
Group spokesperson Robbie Maxwell stated, “We are honored and blessed to have
this opportunity presented to our ministry. We look forward to working with
Eddie Crook and Dave Wilcox and getting started on our new project very soon.”
New Ground and ECC are gathering new songs for their freshman project with the
company. A label announcement will be made in the near future.
