Worth Every Mile
Bill Schell
First Verse:
So often, so weary from trials and tests
From endless miles of fury
And days without rest
But I have this calm assurance
Soon Heaven I shall see
Where this lonesome weary journey will end in victory
CHORUS:
It will be worth every mile just to see the face of Jesus
And to hear Him gently calling my name
With my journey far behind me
From His glory never roam
It will be worth every mile to make it home
Second Verse:
So often discouraged from Satan’s defeats
From weary miles of worry and nights without sleep
Then I hear a voice from Heaven saying child keep holding on
Soon this journey will be over and then the victor’s song
