About Us
New Ground, a southern gospel music ministry, was formed by husband and wife team, Dale and Robbie Maxwell in May of 1993. They have seen great things happen with this group and its continued ministry.

Dale's Mission Statement
"My purpose is to express my dedication, vision
and commitment by looking forward when it is much easier to look back, by looking at things from all angles, not just head on.  And if I fall, get up; in hopes to make Heaven my home, help others along the way, and smile every day."

Robbie's Mission Statement
"My purpose is to express my dedication to God by leaning on His Word in all things, putting Him first in all that I do and to help lead lost souls to Him."

David's Mission Statement
"Through dedication and commitment, I want to be a vessel that God may use to reach lost souls for His kingdom. I love what I do and I never want to miss the opportunity to share Him with others and to encourage people in their daily walk with Christ."

As you can see, New Ground is made up of dedicated Christians who have one desire, to reach out to the world and proclaim the name of the Lord in song.

Upcoming concert announcements!
New Ground will be in concert with Michael English on Sunday, July 6th at Rock Creek Park near Bessemer, Alabama beginning at 5:00 pm.  This is a free admission concert.  Bring your lawn chair.  In the event of rain the concert will be held at the Union Hill Baptist Church. It’s the Annual Summer Sing 2008 being presented by WZZK and Ron Foster. This year will be a two night event on Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th at the Rowland Auditorium in Jasper, Alabama For more information about the concert and tickets click on the poster on the right.
